  3. the Vatican to complete frescoes on the walls
  4. of the Sistine Chapel. He produced large
  5. frescoes in Orvieto Cathedral, where he
  6. devoted a number of scenes to The Last
  7. Judgment 1499-1504. The style is sculptural
  8. and dramatic, reflecting late 15th-century
  9. Florentine trends, but Signorelli's work is
  10. more imaginative. He settled in Cortona and
  11. ran a workshop producing altarpieces.
